STS Leeuwin - Sail Training Vessel of the year

rain 5 °C

Congratulations to STS Leeuwin for winning Sail Training Vessel of the year. James came back to the ship with a large case with a trophy inside. Wow!! Not sure what cost we will incur to get it home. All good tho.

James got all dressed up and headed out to the Gala dinner. He came back saying that it was the best meal he had ever had. I guess I need to up the anti then with my lasagne.

Up for our last breakfast on the ship. Packed most of our stuff before heading out to feed the birds. Nothing really opens on a Sunday. We had to buy some nappies and lucky we found a chemist open.

Off on a cruise, hopefully, at 12. The weather is quite miserable here today. Raining and quite cold. It was like this yesterday too. The ferry needs a minimum of 15 people for it to head out.

I forgot to mention in my previous post that on a weekday the shops generally don't open until 10 or 11am. They close anywhere from 4pm till 6pm.

Taking james to that chocolate place today. Must have another one before we leave for the snow tomorrow.
