Cross walks are everywhere.
Sugar comes in cubes
Tunnels aren't just a km they are more like 4 or 8kms. This is usually through a mountain. Pretty cool
Toast isn't common at all. For breakfast it is usually a boiled egg with bread, cheese, cold meets and maybe some kaviar.
Snow comes in many forms. As we found out the last couple of days, not all snow is suitable for skiing or snow man building
Coffee is usually percolated and strong
Plants in windows. Without a doubt every home we passed, whilst on the bus, had small pot plants in there windows.
Mercedes, BMW, Audi's and small electric cars are the cars of choice.
Lots of salt seems to be in the meals. We hardly use salt, if at all, so have really picked up on the use of salt.
Most Norwegian's speak English.
