Old Stavanger

Cobbled streets

overcast 0 °C

Awake and ready to go at 4am. As we didn't want to disturb the two other guests, we rugged up and headed out to see old Stavanger. Only a shortwalk from where we are staying so it killed some time before breakfast. All the street are cobbled stone, houses are all the same with lovely presented doors and potted plants. The people here have great taste in furnishings and decoration.

Isaac loved walking up all the stairs. He had a great time walking around and managed to stay quiet so we wouldn't wake anyone. We will revisit the area when there is better light.
But we have a couple of pics.

Back at the B&B we had a fantastic breakfast. So impressed! We tried this yummy goats cheese that can easily be mistaken as peanut butter by the way it looks. Isaac liked it too. I had a strong coffee. Had a lovely chat to the two other guests here. Both are business men and one is a ladies fashion designer. Both were not phased by isaacs early wake and infact enjoyed his giggles.

Isaac is now asleep. Hoping he gets a couple of solid hours before we head out again. Been to the tourist office and James is just working out what we will do today.

Just about over the jet lag. Having a blast.
